- Our project inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), project type, and details about your project.
- Creek Assistant, our website chatbot: the messages you send to the chatbot and, if you use its contact form, your name, email address, phone number (optional), inquiry type, and a description of what you need.
- Resumes sent by email: if you email your resume to our careers address, we receive the information it contains.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may also automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss your project.
- To consider you for current or future positions, if you send us your resume.
- To review and improve the accuracy and helpfulness of Creek Assistant over time.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of our website.
We do not add the information you provide to a mailing list automatically, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Our sister company, KP Glass & Aluminum, operates separately. We do not share your information with KP Glass & Aluminum unless you ask us to connect you with them.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate our website and chatbot. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:
- Cloudflare: processes chatbot messages (through Cloudflare Workers AI) to generate responses, and stores a copy of each chatbot conversation (through Cloudflare KV) so we can review and improve Creek Assistant's answers.
- Web3Forms: delivers inquiry form and chatbot contact submissions to our email inbox.
- GitHub Pages: hosts this website.
Cookies & Tracking
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising or analytics on this website. A random, non-identifying session code is kept in your browser for the duration of your visit so your chatbot conversation can be matched to its stored copy. This is not a cookie, and it is cleared when you close the tab.
Data Retention
Chatbot conversations are stored for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. Inquiry form submissions, chatbot contact submissions, and resumes are kept for as long as necessary to respond to you and provide our services, or as required by law.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected or deleted, subject to our legal and legitimate business requirements. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for a general audience of homeowners and businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
